Where was I born or where do I come from? Interesting distinction. I am told I was born in Washington D.C. in Sibley Hospital at 7:06 am. However, an intuitive friend of mine tells me I am from a water planet far far away. All I know is I love to swim underwater and I do believe in reincarnation.

Why would I live in the desert if I love the water? Maybe I am trying to balance out lifetimes of being waterlogged. New Mexico is a gorgeous state. I think of it as a forgotten state. It is an oasis for me. I visited twice. The second time I came with all of my belongings. Taos Mountain captured me.
It was enormous culture shock for a girl who had only experienced humid city life to suddenly arrive in the high, desolate desert. On the drive from Albuquerque north is a sign ”Gusty Winds My Exist”. Upon reading it I burst out laughing and knew I was headed in the right direction. My interior felt like it was singing. That must be the indication to know if I am making the right decision. When I lived in Boston every time I left my insides would rejoice and when I returned they felt like a deep pit of despair. I was too inexperienced to realize that nothing was wrong with me, Boston just wasn’t a good fit.
So, now I am in Taos, New Mexico. Before arriving here I lived in: Bethesda Md, Boston, Hamburg Germany, Santa Barbara CA, San Francisco CA.
My greatest passion in life is the creative process. I paint, draw, sculpt, make pottery, sew, design, make bike-innertube wallets/bags, write, ski, build my house, hike, learn to be myself and follow my bliss without thinking too much. To me, being in nature is part of the creative process.

I live on the shoulder of a mountain with 2 dogs, 2 cats, 8 chickens, 4 fish, 2 goats, and a great garden.
